Hi,

By default, SMS 2003 installs with several shares shared out with the Everyone - Full Control share permission. Is there any way I can tighten down the share permissions without affecting SMS? I've previously (in my test environment) removed Everyone and replaced it with Administrators, System and SMS_SiteToSiteConnection_xxx - Full Control and it screwed up my SMS' functionality.

Is there any way of tightening down the share permissions and what are the settings required please?

I'm running SMS 2003 on a Windows 2003 box using Advanced Clients and Advanced Security. SQL Server is on a different box.

Many Thanks in Advanced!

I assume with no responses to my question that everyone has left their install with the default share permissions?
