How do I remove a DS1 card so that the system no longer reports it in list config all as missing? We had 2, but due to reduced call volumes we only need one and stopped the service on one of the T-1s.

First make sure that the ports are removed from the trunk-group. Then busy out the d-channel if this was ISDN. Then remove the DS1 programming. Finally remove the card.

If you removed the card, which it sounds like you did, you need to put it back into the same slot it was removed from and then perform the above.

One final step if it still shows up in the list config:

Change cabinet nnx and blank the line where the circuit pack was (and will still be showing)

other than removing the ports from the trunk group, do you mean remove the signaling group?? where else would there be DS1 programming?

busy out channel 16
remove ports from trunk group
remove sig group
remove DS1

I don't think change cabinet is a valid command; if you pull the card out of the slot after completing the above it will no longer appear in list config
