One of my DC's has died so I'm unable to demote it and remove it from the AD. When I attempted to delete it from AD sites and services I receive an error message informing me that the DSA object cannot be deleted. Is there a correct way to remove a DC if it dies?

Any help appreciated.
Chris

· Schema master
· Domain naming master
· RID master
· PDC master
· Infrastructure master

2. Clean up objects related to the failed DC from Active Directory using ADSI Edit, NTDSUTIL.exe, ( article Q216498)
