Removing corrupted Nortons Anti Virus from w2k server

W2k stand alone server: I'm trying to blow away nortons antivirus so I can do a clean install. PROBLEM: add/remove program, highlited nortons antivirus, clicked removed--it say's it can't find some .DLL file. --was desperate and tried CHANGE instead of remove, same deal.

Tried re installing on top of that, PUKED! can't do.

Suggestions will be appreciated greatly.

What version of NAV and what DLL file is it looking for.

NAV 7.6 --- don't remember the DLL-- left the server at the site....will return on Monday morning.

Ok, i had someone get the DLL for me...

"Error loading the NavInst extension DLL"

Norton has a program for removal of their software it is called RNIS.EXE it is available at their site

I had the same situation and it worked fine for me.
