Had a xp machine running client 3.83 sp1 connecting to a netware 3.12 box and everything worked fine. Someone updated the service pack to sp2 and now it's screwing up. I tried reinstalling the client 3.83 sp1 but the sp2 is still showing up after install. How do you remove a service pack once it's installed? I just want to go back to 3.83 sp1. Thanks in advance.

quicker just to remove client and reinstall

i think you could just go into client and click sp and it gives you changed dll's - you could just backrev these ones but go with above - longer but cleaner

I have tried reinstalling client 3.83 sp1 but the sp2 still shows up even after using the original 3.83 sp1 installer. Removed client first, then reinstalled but sp2 will not leave.

How did you remove/uninstall the client (v4.83 I presume, not 3.83?)

Oops, 4.83.. Roger that. I went into Add/remove programs from the control panel and removed it. I couldn't find an uninstall in the install files unless they have moved it. I remember the 98 clients had a stand alone removal tool included so since I couldn't find it I just used the xp control panel.

No problem..
