Removing canned greetings on personal contacts?

3300 w/ 7.x software.

I have been trying to figure out if it is possible to remove the canned prompts for cell, fax, etc on the Personal Contacts. I would like to use those numbers for something other than the canned greeting says.

If there is a way, I don't know it. (and not for lack of trying)

I always instruct my customers to steer clear of the 2,3,and 7.
