i use the background eraser in pspx, it creates white and grey squares. Wich is normal I presume. But I want to remove the background, not replace it with anything else. Just keep the picture I drew around. How do I do that?

The White and gray squares means there is no background. ITs PSP's way of telling you that.

If you want to keep it transparanet, save the picture in a format that accepts transparent backgrounds, such as PNG or GIF.

Go to File-> Export -> then pick a format.

You should also save a copy in .pspimage format, which allows you to easily continue editing the image if needed.

ok thanks for the info, but the thing is it still leaves a box around the picture. I'm new at this, so bare with me. I want to be able to paste this image onto a background and I get the whole square picture. I just want the picture itself, not what's around it.

ok i figured out what I wanted, where do I go to save it in pspimage format?

File -> Save As -> click the dropdwon menu and select the PSP option.
