I added a secondary domain email address to the default policy in exchange system manager and mistakenly added this secondary address to all users on my domain, which I didn't want to do.

I've since deleted the secondary address but if I go to my address book and click properties for each user it is still showing them as having the secondary smtp address.

Is there a way for me to remove this secondary address from all users on the address book without having to manually delete it from each user account?

Set a rebuild of your Recipent update service. See if this fixes it. It not recreate your Policy and appliy to all users, after it applies. remove the users from the policy and then delete the policy.. hope this works.

Thanks for the response.

I set a rebuild prior to my original post and unfortunately it had no effect. Because I originally added this secondary email address to the defauly policy I'm reluctant to go and delete the policy as it still contains the primary email address for all my users.

As I have already removed the secondary address and rebuilt the recipient update service to no success I think I may have to manually delete this secondary address from each users account.
