Removing ActiveX control verification

I am writing a recipe storage program that runs in IE and I keep getting the activeX control dialogue box when reading or writing to a file. Is there a way to disable the prompt in ie or by programming?

Go to the security tab of your internet options.

I have checked the security section and changed all options that should affect this but I still get this message.
"An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?"

Any more help would be appreciated
