Has anyone got any ideas

There may be a button that is active on that station (such as a night-service button or send-calls. Try checking into that. If all else fails, you can busy the station (if you have maintenance permissions, by typing...busy station xxxx)and then remove it.

busy the port that the station is on. then remove the station.

Is this station still connected to the port? If not, you may want to re-connect it and verify it is not in night service or forwarded by any means. I have had luck by re-connecting the port and then removing the station. You may want to take it out of the page group also before trying the remova. Allso you may want to list configuration board xxxx to see its state. Does your switch have TTI enabled? I have seen station get stuck in limbo before with this feature. Best bet is to have the station connected with all its bridged appearances and memberships removed as when these are in use, it can make your station appear to be in use. Hope that that may give you an edge...

I had a similar situation which I have resolved it by using the following:
Type "busyout station xxxx" (xxxx = the ext. #)
type "release station xxxx"

Then you should be able to TTI or remove your troubled station.
G'luk.
