I have a few reports that I have to create .txt files, which have to be in a certain format. The problem is that
on the report, there are no spaces, but when it is converted, it puts spaces in places. The spaces are not consistant (as in not in the same place throughout the report). I made sure that all fields in the report are long enough.

Here is an example of the .txt file:

BGM00101231
BGM00102785201
RFF10101CR 1254345

BGM00101231
BGM00102785202
RFF10101CR 543
BGM00101231

BGM00102785203
RFF10101CR 987987

Sometimes the spaces are after 2 records, or 3, or 4.
Any ideas? I already removed the headers and footers.

Thanks

Hi Ken
I create the report from a query. Then I run a macro, which is the "OutputTo" macro. Created the out as MSDOS-Text. On the report itself, there are no lines inbetween the fields. No headers or footers. All fields are long enough for any of the data.
I tried creating it as RTF and it comes out okay, but I need it in .txt format, because it goes through a process automatically when created.
Thanks
Robert
