Hi all, I've messed up. I decided to play with the security set up wizard and didn't really know what I was up to. I am now locked out of all databases except new databases that I create.

Of course I can't remember the password. (I was sure it WAS password but that doesn't seem to be it).

What can I do?

Uhhmm,

Nevermind I figured it out by lokking at old posts. Sorry all!

try it in all caps?

smack yourself over your head with a brick?

Which version of Access?

If your db file name is Contact.mdb, look for a file called Contact.bak. The security wizard sometimes creates a BAK file which is the original and the new Contact.mdb is the one that the wizard applied the security to.
