Hello

I am using an Action button in a form to send the form as
a mail item
the formula is

@Command([mailForward])

Can anyone tell me the code to use
in the formula to remove the line
that is automatically inserted by forward
ie in begins with ----forwarded by

No code for that, sorry.
The line is S.O.P. in Notes, and I have seen it in other mail apps as well.
The line is editable, but I guess you would rather do away with it entirely than go and edit it each time.
I must say I do not agree with that approach. It is important for the recipient to know that you are forewarding the mail and did not write it yourself.
Of course, that is only my opinion. If you do wish to do something about that line, I would guess that tinkering with the mail template is your only hope - if one can call it such.
The mail template is one of the most complicated applications you can find in Notes, and I have, by experience, found out that the simplest changes are prone to giving major headaches.

Pascal.

Thnx for you response Pascal
I shall leave things as they are.

cheers.....
