How can I remove the "logoff" softkey from users phones under the options screen. I don't want the users to accidentally log themselves off. We get a lot of that. I will still be able to logoff the phone by dialing the code "mute logoff" on the keypad, I just don't want them to see the logoff button on the display.

Thanks,
Rick

When you do a change station xxxx, and space bar through the logoff button does it not remove it?

This only shows up as a softkey under the "options" button under the screen so it is actually an option to pick and not a button such as speed dial or call forward of send all calls. In other words if I press the "options" button the phone and use the errors to tab over to the second page it gives me the options:

Contrast Control
Feature Button Labeling
Logoff
etc.

I want to remove the Logoff function from the customers view.

I'm sorry I noticed in my post that I forgot to mention the phones are 4610 and 4621 swip phones.

In your 46xx settings file on your TFTP server, you can modify it to be:

SET OPSTAT 110

(The default is 111 - see description below)

## When OPSTAT is set to 110, the user can invoke all the options except
## the Log-Off option on the 4610 and 462X. For the 4630 this setting
## is the same as 111.

## When OPSTAT is set to 111, the user can invoke any or all of the user
## options.

## example:
## SET OPSTAT 110

Phoneman2, don't worry about it. My question was a little confusing. I appreciate your input. Marcell55 gave me just what I was looking for.

Thanks Folks for your help,
Rick
