Remove full duplicate lines

I am very new to Crystal and usually use MS Execel. However, when outputting this report automatically I'd like for the report to remove duplicate lines, instead of surpressing them. How do I do that? Here is the example.

Raw Data:
Date-Time-Item-Account
3/16/2011 - 12:00PM - Orange - 001
3/16/2011 - 12:00PM - Orange - 001
3/16/2011 - 1:00PM - Red - 004
3/16/2011 - 2:00PM - Blue - 007
3/16/2011 - 1:00PM - Red - 004

Desired Result:
3/16/2011 - 12:00PM - Orange - 001
3/16/2011 - 1:00PM - Red - 004
3/16/2011 - 2:00PM - Blue - 007

You can group Date-Time-Item-Account
and then display the data in the detail section.

Sorry Bellkras, I'm still a newbie to Crystal and am not sure hwo to group these fields together.

Do I go to Insert-Group? How do I select all the fields?

go to insert and choose group then group those fields.

I cannot seem to get this to work.

When I go to insert it asks for one field, how am i to insert the 4 fields and have them remove all duplicates?

You could insert groups one at a time on account, then item, and then datetime, and then place all fields in the group header or footer of the datetime group and suppress the detail section.

Hello natetc,

Depending on the feilds that you are getting duplicates for you may not need to group all of those feilds.

You could group one feild and put the rest of the feilds in that group or in the detail section.
