I have an Access database, with a field "Model Number". I need to remove the first 4 didgits of every record in this field. I'm having some difficulty with the syntax of the left or trim functions to complete this task.

The answer is so simple, its going to drive me nuts, Please help!

Something like this ?
SELECT Mid([Model Number], 5) As NewModel FROM yourTable

Hope This Helps, PH.
