remove duplicates from database search results

My current database search results look like:

Apple good
Apple better
Apple best
Pear good

I hope the result displaying like this:

Apple good
better
best
Pear good

Anyone knows how to do it? Thanks.

I know some VB script, I am using frontpage insert database result wizard to do the search.
