I recently was forced to remove my ATI Radeon from my Windows 2000 Server after it overheated. The card is no longer recognized by the OS. I replaced the card with an old RIVA TNT, and it works great.
My problem is that I am now unable to remove the old ATI drivers. The ATI installer won't remove them because it can't locate the card (its dead). I tried RegClean, and removing the services manually (they aren't listed in the Services MMC).
I keep getting errors in the Event Viewer stating that it can't start the following services upon reboot:
ATI WDM Specialized MVD Codec service
ATI WDM TV Audio Crossbar service
ATI WDM TV Tuner service
How do I remove these services/drivers manually?
