This server was multihomed.
Now we need just one netcard and I would like to delete the DNS record of the removed netcard but I can't.
If I right click on the A record I just can open the properties.....

Any idea ???

Are you part of the domain admins group, if you don't have the correct permissions this can happen, just a thought.

Yes, I'm logged in as domain admin

It seems as if the record is still bind to the nic card
options
1.reinsert the nic and then delete the record
2.check device manager and delete the inccard from there it is possible the niccard is still present n device manager
3.reboot the machine and try steps two if the card is still present in device manager then delete the record.

azzurri, if your still having the problem go to the control panel add/remove devices, when the window comes up at the bottom click show all devices and scroll down until you find the nic that you removed and remove it you won't have to reboot.

hope this helps

I agree with oceanid1. You need to remove all associations
with the nic before removing the nic. I found this out
when I was replacing a nic and couldnt use the ip till I
reinserterd the nic that was in and removed it's settings (set to dhcp). Then I could use the IP again.

The looking for hidden devices didn't do nor did a registry
hack I tried. Only thing that would work was above.

onepair, i've done the hidden device search three times now and it's worked evrytime, don't understand what the problem you had could have been.
