I received an external spreadsheet from a customer with a "First Name" and "Last Name" column. It appears at the end of each cell there are invisible Hexadecimal characters. How can I remove them?

If all the weird characters are all at the end of a string, write a maco that checks each cell by character (a-Z) and truncate the string at the first unacceptable character.

Hi
Somewhere is these fora there is a thread on this, but I can't remember the details [sad]. Alt 255 is an invisible space-like character that can be replaced, it could be that.

You may consider the CLEAN WorksheetFunction.

Hope This Helps, PH.
