Im always having this problem; I remove my SuSe9.2 hdd and put in a another linux distro. When I put SuSe9.2 back it says cannot fsck the disk and that I need to remount it with this option.

mount -n -o remount,rw /

Then it throws me into a console where I df the drives and see that /dev/hda1 is mounted twice. I force an unmount and remount it. Then fsck it and it checks it. then I ctrl-D and it reboots. I still get the msg. Anyone know why this happens and how I can solve the problem. I NEVER switch off my box I shutdown normally.

Thanks

Well for those of you who want to know how to fix it. Put in that installation cd and do a repair.
