Does anyone know how or if a vector announcement can be recorded from off site? Thanks!

If you set up Remote Access, you can dial in and dial the Feature Access Code, then the Announcement Number, then 1 to record, 2 to listen, and 3 to delete.

Good Luck!

Whoops... One thing I would suggest is you make sure the announcement is not playing or in use when you make these changes. I always take mine out of the mix before making changes and then when I am sure the announcement is good, I put it back to work...
Thansk,

A few ways!

1. DISA/Remote access with the correct barrier codes and proper COS/COR to change Announcements. Many companies use this for disaster recovery.
2. IP Softphone also with the correct COS/COR to change announcements.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the remote access suggestion. I tried it, but when I dial the access code for recording announcements I get a wave off tone. I checked all COR/COS so that's not the problem. Any other thing I should be checking?

The remote access DID number must have console permissions in order to record announcements

Hope this helps
