Remote VME Access of main office number

For Nortel/Meridian phone systems, can you remote access the voicemail of the main office number (operator)? When i enter the 3 digit extension and password, it says combination invalid. I know password is correct because it works when i access the voicemail onsite. We can contact the operator/front desk by dialing 0 or a designated 3 digit extension but that 3 digit extension does not work when trying to remote access the main office voicemail. Any help would be appreciated. Ron

It depends on the type of Nortel voicemail product. Are you referring to Meridian systems?
