Remote users - edgemarc SBC with IPO R11

Hi guys,

does anyone has any documentations on how to setup edgemarc SBC with avaya IPO?
I am using J179 as a remote phones. and it registers but there is no dial tone or RTP between the system and the remote phone. Signaling I believe is working fine because I can dial out to my cell but again no dial tone, ringback or RTP.

Dial tone and ring tone can be either sent by the PBX as RTP or it can be created by the phone itself.

When RTP works for normal phone calls but you don't hear ring tone then I guess the PBX doesn't generate RTP AND the phone doesn't generate a ring tone itself.

In case of the SBC it can also be possible that it doesn't allow "RTP early media" and transports RTP only after the call is answered with a "200 OK" message.

A PCAP trace on the SBC'S internal interface should tell you more.
