I want to know is there any program to release the Trunk lines remotely. one of the 2400IPX site is not releasing the conference lines, i didnt find any program to disconnect the line so i am using hard reset of Trunk card(COTBJ), i tried RLST command it doesnt release the line. or is there any other way .

Thanks in Advance...!

you can make busy the port microprocessor on the card using the MBPM command wait 5 seconds and make the port microprocessor idle. you will need to know the following to use this command.
The Module group of the card
The unit of the card
The line groups of the card
we use this command to reset our PRI cards remotely. If you need to know where the card is in the system use the DPKG command.

Thanks for the reply.
i tried RLTK but it isnt working.
and i tried MBPM but it releases the trunk lines, its very strong.
But i want to know whats the reason the lines are getting held? this happens mostly with the three way conference. is there any permanent solution?

If you are using copper trunks you should call your SP and verify disconnect supervision. Is the 3 way conference internal to your PBX or does it include external calls?

Command ARRC - ICRT - route # - OGRT - route #
Make ARI-D a 0 - this will force the trunks to release, however this will halt the abilty to transfer a incoming trunk call to and outgoing trunk. This forces users to have a 3- way conference. The attendant can still process trunk to trunk connections if you leave ARI-A as a 1.

Have you checked ARTD? In ARTD for that route i would check both TF (Trunk Function) and RLP (Trunk Release Pattern). Standard setting is TF=3 and RLP=2. If you are using copper trunks i would still call your SP and verify disconnect supervision and trunk signaling Loop,Wink,Ground and make sure they match your ARTD settings.

Thank you for your reply.....!
i tried the the above programs, but its all same.
its a copper trunk and no disconnect supervision from the SP.

One more problem i found is sometimes Console gets hang, it will go on ringing, then we have to reset the PN-CS33 card.

With no disconnect supervision you have to disable trunk to trunk connections between any trunks that are the same. If you have an ISDN connection (or any other supervised trunks) you could still allow those circuits to connect to unsupervised trunks and vise versa. However if unsupervised is all you have then trunk to trunk will always cause lockups and the only resolution is manual release.
