Hey Guys,

I want to set up users to get a e-mail notication when they get a new voicemail message. How is this setup in Call Pilot 4.

Thanks,

Frank

Have you verified that all of your IP settings on the server are correct? DNS, WINS, etc?

I just checked some things on my R5 server, and I don't see anything that really stands out.

From your description, it sounds like the notifications are being sent when the server boots, and then additional notifications are queued and never sent.

I would definitely think about calling support on this one.

AOSupport..can you list all the peps you have installed?
and post them.

allenmac,
Thanks for the above info, it helped me to get this feature up and running. My question is that you said earlier that you were able to manipulate the caller ID so that it could be dialed directly from a Blackberry. How/Where did you do this?

From the Callpilot manager:

Note: all values assume your are in the US.

Click on Messaging -> Dialing Information

In the Dialing Defaults section:

enter 1 in the Long Distance Prefix field, 011 in the International prefix field. Leave the local prefix and ESN Access code fields blank.

In the Public Telephone Network section:

enter 1 in the Local country code field. Leave the Local area/city code blank.

You can play around with the options in the Unknown Format Handling section, and see what works for your particular situation.
