Remote System no Longer Responding Error

I have a user that eventually receives this error message when they try and forward an E-mail with an attachment (takes about 5 minutes to get the message). Our Company uses Lotus Notes R5. I have checked her computer to make sure that wasn't an issue. I checked network connections and updated her mail box file on the server (did a fixup). I am at a loss, so any help would be appreciated.

Just a thought but do you have the web interface also set up (iNotes is what I know it as). If so, try having the user log in that way and then try sending email with an attachment. That should isolate between the client and the server side of things. Since other users don't have this problem - suspect you'll find that iNotes route works - which points to the client installation being the problem.
 
On the notes.ini please check

SNA0_SEND_TIME=2000

Specifies the time interval in hundredths of a second that the Connect for SNA driver will wait for a transmission of data to a remote Notes system to complete. Recommended value is 20 seconds unless persistent "Remote system not responding" messages occur. Increase the time interval if this is the case.
