Hi ...

I have have a Bria SIP phone connected via smart phone to the IP Office v8.1 system. The Bria has sip account configured as 3rd party IP and teleworker extension

The Bria works perfectly when calling extension to extension or extension to outside but after 30 seconds to either call or receive from the PRI I get no audio in either direction.

Is this a setup problem on my part, a bug or do I need a special configuration on the router for this to work?

In the USER Tab look at your SIP Tab and see how it is setup.

On the SIP Tab there are 3 possible entries. The first two entries are usually the Users name and the third entry is usually the extension number of the phone.

How is the Users SIP Tab information defined?

try a different SIP phone. I use media5-fone on andriod and it works a treat.

Hi RodneyMcSnow ...

where I find SIP Tab, there is no just user tab.

Hi hairlessupportmonkey ..

I try media5-phone and many typs with same result.

Fail after 30 seconds is an RTP media timeout. I suspect you are blocking a port somewhere, or you have a routing issue.

I agree with telcoguy. one way or no audio is usually a media path/routing issue. Try disabling any SIP Alg features and firewalls on the router to test.

Do you have any working SIP endpoints?
