I have been working on fixing my Lucent Merlin sustem for sometime now and it doesn't seem to be the best use of my time. Is there a way to have someone call in and perform operations remotely? I need the number of rings on our AA changed and the # of rings that it takes to get to VM reduced. One ext. isn't going to vm and I can't figure out why. I was also hoping someone could create a report of the settings on the system. Please give me some feedback on the best way to outsource this.

This is the Definity forum, post your question in the Merlin forum.
Basically, 'yes, someone can dial in and work on your system' if it is set up properly and of the right type. Avaya will do it for you free if you have maintenance with a special additioin that includes programing. Or they will do it for a $80 fee(I think that is what they charge).
But if you post in the Merlin forum they will know more for sure, as I never worked on Merlin, I only use to sit next to people that did at Avaya, so I picked up that info.

P.S. For the best response to a question, read FAQ222-2244. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Please answer all questions so that I may have the info to assist you. Leaving a post on how you fixed the problem will also be appreciated.

Thank you. This was my oversight. I have posted a new thread in another forum.
