Remote Recording of AA Menu

I wanted to have our menu professionally done and the recording studio needs to record the messages for us. Does anyone know how they can remotely do it? I've got the CP Manager software and it can call the phoens internally, but it wont dial an outside number to record the greetings. Is there another way to get it done on the actual telephone? Or is there a way to do recording from actual phone lines?

I have been meaning to try this but no time as usual.. call forward the set externaly to an external number and try that and let us know if it works.

If they are using call pilot doesn't that have import for wav files?

Gents,

If you configure your outside line access to use destination codes and routes instead of pool codes you can have a callpilot call an external number through the web gui and record your greetings remotely.

You can only import and export wav files on BCM CallPilot.

Cut and modified from one of the FAQ's good luck.

Program routing Services follow these steps
Under Service press show once, press next 2 times,
press show to routes, press show, enter 001 in the field
press show, press next.
Under Use: Set to Pool A, for SrvcType use public

Note in order to use the #9 for access you must go to system programming, Access codes , to Ext codes and change
this parameter from 9 to none..........

Press heading twice, next once to Dest Codes , press show, press next Dest Codes:9. ( the . is used as an any key, and must be set )

Press show the display shows normal: set to 001
Press show the display shows AbsorbLength: set as 1
Program the same here for Night: (normal:001 and AbsorbLength: 1

Under Terminal and sets make sure you program icm as prime line

There are some MP3 or small tape devices that insert between the handset and the telephone set. Normally these are used for recording calls. I've always meant to try to use them for play back to record AA/CCR announcements. ??
