I have been told by an engineer that came to site that i can remotely program the system from outside (he said he could) via one of the extensions in the our system.

Can someone direct me on how this is possible.

At work I have/am the admin phone and can program directly, and i work from an ldk-20 manual because i can't find a 100 manual and most of the bits seem to work ok for me.

We don't have a network card, but i was wondering if they can still be obtained and how much they cost.

You can only get into system programming from a remote location if you have either a MODU (modem card) or LANU (LAN) card in the system. The point a DDI, or DID depending on location to extn 37, this is the default modem extn providing you have the MODU.

Where are you located?

I am in Denmark.
You can access the ipLDK-100 from an analogue mode towards the MODU installed in the ipLDK-100.
Or, you can use an ISDN modem to connect and dial in to the build-in ISDN modem of the ipLDK-100.
Also through the LANU board it is possible to connect to the ipLDK-100.
And finally you can use programming from the keyset towards the ipLDK-100.
So in 4 ways, it is possible to connect to the ipLDK-100.
