We have an IP 406 v2 3.0(59) with a point to point t-1 connection to our remote site. The t-1 goes into Adtran Netvanta routers on each side.

when we try to set up the 4624 on the remote side it goes through the start up (gets files) and promts for login. Once we log in the phone flashes the time and date and then just goes dead???

I tried the phone localy where the IP Office is and it works fine.

Any thoughts?

I checked the Adtran routers to make sure TCP/IP Ports 1719 and 1720 also UDP ports 49152 through 53247 are all open. As far as I know those are all the ports that should open. Are there others I'm not opening? I ran a sniff on the netwrok during the phone power up and loging and I see the phone talking to the IP Office and getting reponses but I can not see why the phone does not stay up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

Is this on multiple phones or just the one in particular? I have seen bad phones with the same symptoms.

That was the only remote phone we were setting up. The phone worked fine when not using the VPN (locally) so I did not think it was the phone. It ended up being a problem in the Adtran routers, they were programmed correctly along with everything else there was just a problem with the firmware loaded in the Adtrans.

Thank for your help everyone.

I have a couple of docs somewhere on teh Adtran router fro QOS, VPN, etc.. If I can find them, I will post them up on here for future use.
