I have a Mitel 5312 set that occasionally resets. It is in a remote office and it is a teleworker connected to a Mitel Boarder Gateway.
Below are two Major alarm messages from the MBG that correlate with the time of the Mitel 5312 ip set reset.
My questions are what does "is" and "ss" mean and why would one way audio cause the ip set to reset itself?
Any input would be very much appreciated!

I think it more likely that the reset is causing the error rather that the other way around.

What is your DHCP lease timer?

I would extend the timer to 1 day and see if the resets reduce

Keep in mind that a DHCP lease will renew at the half way period of the lease timer. With that you will still be sending renewal requests every 12 hours.

I would also verify that a clean internet connection exists at the far end.
