We have serval s8500's off site at remote locations. At the current time we don't have Telecom techs on site. Is there a way to send out a notificaiton of a Major or Minor alarm via email? Or something?
You can also use ASA and schedule polling to check for alarms on your systems. I have a dedicated PC that does it all day for my systems and it works great. It reported an alarm this weekend, which was resolved on its own, but I still was notified that there was a problem, and was able to look into the alarm. ASA has a lot more capabilities than most people know.
