Hi,

I have a 9150 with 32 extensions built, In there I have DSP's that give me 32 ports.

My question is this. Does the DSP allocation work dynamically or is it a one for one match,

IE,
DSP 1 = Extension 1.
DSP 2 = Extension 9.

Thanks for any replies.

each dsp will handle one call for a phone. with 32 dsps in the 9150 you can use 32 phones at a time providing you have enough bandwidth to cover that many calls between the PBX and the 9150

Each DSP daughterboard in the 9150 handles 8 calls.
There is DSP capacity for 8 calls builtin on the motherboard in the 9150. That leavs room for 3 extra DSP daughterboards.

Each DSP daughterboard that handles 8 calls, can help any phone on the 9150. So, you can have a 9150 with 32 sets that only have capacity for 8 simultaneous calls.

Remember! There must be DSP:s enough in both the 9150 AND the MIG RLC card in the PBX.
