I have a Call Pilot 100 3.0 I just setup with NVM that has two info mailboxes in addition to the subscriber boxes. I have allow external initialization enabled in the CP. I can call in, press ** and access the info box, but I don't get the prompts where I can change the greeting, just the ones to listen to the messages.
I have set up other CPs in the past with Info Mailboxes where I could change the greeting externally.
I cant't figure out what's different?

Are you 100% sure you have created the mailbox as an Info mbx? When you set it up did you do so via the phone or GUI interface? Normally, an Info mbx will not have the ability to hear messages because you can't leave messages. That's why I ask if you are sure it's an Info mbx. If it is a user mbx set up w/alternate grtg not to receive msgs, it can act in the same manner as an Info mbx. The difference is you would record grtgs like a user would. I have had to setup user mbxes in some instances to achieve what the customer was looking to do, where the Info mbx would not allow the task to be done correctly.

Hopefully this is helpful. If not, have you tried to delete and add the Info mbx back in?
