Hi All,

I'm currently looking to find a solution to my problem to Login an agent remotely on another system from an IP Trunk between two ACM system:

The objective is in case of the needed to close an call center quickly, without Telecom Administrator or a IP Phone registered on the second system.

I have two system ACM linked by IP Trunk with the same feature when I press the FAC to access to the AAR table and route my call over the IP Trunk and then I enter my remote-access code of the secondary System and then I enter the FAC to login an agent I get an error below:

denial event 1376: Agent login illegl source D1=0x830036 D2=0x1c24

So it seems to be logical that you can't do that remotely from an IP Phone which is not on the same system.

So do you have an idea to compose a number from the system 1 to log an agent remotely in an emergency skill to close the skill of a specific call center on the system 2 ?

The objective is to have something simple for a end user without my intervention.

Let me know if you have any idea.

Best Regards.

Do you have variables in that switch's software? If so yu might be able to insert a varible that could be dialed to work as an Emergency Skill

Hi,

Yes I have the variable.

But do you have an example of your vectoring please?

Because I'm not sure to undertsand how I can do that with the variable.

Thanks!

3 steps to set up variables to close the call center:

Step 1: Set up the variable table
Use command "Change Variable"
Select a variable letter (let's use E for emergency)
Type is collect
Scope is global
Length = number of digits you want the user to enter (I use 4)
Start = 1
Value = put 9999 (a quick way to check that it's not 'active'

Step 2: Set up a DID VDN / vector that the user can call to change the value of the variable
1) Collect 4 digits after announcement 12345 FOR E
(please enter the variable closing or reopening code)
2) Goto step 4 if digits = 1234
(user will key 1234 to shut down call center)
3) Goto step 5 if digits = 9999
(user will key 9999 to reopen call center)
4) Disconnect after announcement none
(invalid digits will disconnect)
5) Disconnect after announcement 23456
(your call center has been closed)
6) Disconnect after announcement 34567
(your call center has been reopened)
7) Stop

Step 3: Put in a check in all of your vectors to check for emergency
Goto step xx if E=1234

Step xx: disconnect after announcement 4567
(emergency announcement...)

Good luck!

Many thanks!

It very useful to use the Variable, now I see much better the interest of the Variable!

Thanks to you it works fine!
