Hello All:

We have Modular Messaging 3.1 and I am trying to set something up, and wanted to se if it is even possible. We have two sites, each with its own independent S8720 architechture. We have one MM system. I can get calls from the site that has the MM to cover properly, giving the greeting of the subscriber.

I am trying to get the second site, that does not have MM to be able to use the MM at the first site. The two sites are connected VIA IP trunks. I can get the calls to cover to the MM, but it plays the default greeting "of please enter the mailbox number of the person you are trying to reach".

I've tried a number of things to get this to work, Signaling group NC-TSC and such, but I can't get calls on the second site to cover to the actual voicemailbox of the end user.

Is their something simple I am misssing, or is this something that is not possible?

Any help is appreciated, thanks:
Joe

Yes this does work. I will need to lookup my notes on this but What config note are you using

Hello:

We have the Qsig-T1 configuration between the MM and the S8720 that it is connected to. So QSIG-MWI

Okay, I have this working for stations at the second site, but not for agent IDs. Is it even possible to have agent IDs at the second site set up to have voicemail at the first site that has the MM?

Thanks, I'll keep digging most likely a configuration issue I need to figure out.

what was the resolve for getting the secondary set to get Integrated prompts ?

are the agent IDs in the private number or public number forms - depending how you set up your trunking ?

this catches me every time we add a "new" range

cheers : )

Hello:

I ended up setting up a seperate IP-trunk group between the two sites. When just stations were working I had numbering format on page 3 of the trunk form set to unk-pvt. I switched that to private and then stations and agent IDs started covering properly.

thanks:
Joe
