hello every body,
Is it possible to install remotly AIX 4.3.3 on an empty server?
I was thinking that the Network Install Management would do the trick but the more i read about it, the less it seams to allow me to install the new server without puting the AIX cd in it...
Anybody has any clue???

NIM does exactly that: Network installs.

NIM. It checks to see if a previous version of AIX is installed, and if so, then it performs a migration install; if no version of AIX is installed it does a new/complete overwrite.

Ok thankyou very much.
All i have to do now is to make a NIM Master... Well anyway i'll try...[thumbsup2]

Info for setting up NIM Master & Clients can be found in the AIX Installation guide that came with your copies of AIX..
