Remote Extensions for TDA50g 1

So i have looked all over the web and cannot seem to find any form of documentation on how to proceed with installing a phone remotely in a employees home.

The only documentation i have found was of the equipment needed to accomplish this task. A VPN router connected to the gateway card in the TDA50 and a VPN router connected into the remote location. I have a KX-NT346 phone at the station side. When I log into the gateway card to set the IP through the GUI the screen freezes and the IP address does not change.

Also need to know what I need to do to have the VPN routers talk to each other from separate sites

Make sure the card is seated fully. what level is the software on the system?

For a vpn you need a fixed IP address on both sides if possible but at least one or a dns service
2 routers that can do a vpn. different subnets on each side i.e 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx
