thread689-1071562 - Remote access

Was trying to set up remote access using thread above and I think I screwed up and replaced the existing Route Table because after making the changes I am no longer able to dial out to the extensions on the remote site and getting a Fast Busy Tone.

I have the Non-Local Dial Plan Range set to 500-599 and have it assigned to the Tie Trunk Pool 892 and have it taking 3 digits. I have no idea what else I possibly changed that affected this but I've been reading the manual and troubleshooting with no progress...Please Help Thx

Does your control unit have a PCMCIA Backup and Restore card in it? And are backup set to happen automatically every week?
If so, RESTORE from one of the automatic backups, and going forward, do a manual backup before you make changes, so you have a known place to go back to

No, unfortunately not I backed up the other networked system and forgot to backup this one.

There's a lot to networking these things. I'd hate to ask you to post them all, but I would want to see several reports. The key ones would be TRUNK INFO GENERAL (make sure that the trunks for the link have an external switch number) and NONLOCAL UDP. Did the failure come as a result of trying to get remote access working or something else?

Yes the failure came about after I made a change to allow remote access, where I entered the default remote access code of "889" and route info. I currently have the full report. Here are the reports you requested. Trunks 813-836 are the tie trunks assigned to pool 892.

Comparing with the report from the other site I just noticed the trunks 813-836 show "Shared" under "RemAccess" column where in the report below it shows "No Remote". Is it safe to assume that I should change these also to "Shared" to allow for extension dialing or is this setting unrelated?

Also is there a setting I might have to change just like when one dials "9" for outside call that when I'm dialing a "5xx" extension that I have to program it to see "5" as an internal network call to reach over to other side?
