Hello,
I currently use remote desktop to connect to a Windows 2000 pro server. everything works fine, but only 2 people can connect at a time using remote desktop. Is there any way to modify this number to allow more connections?

You would need to add the full blown Terminal Services server to the Win2k server.
Are you positive this is not a Windows 2003 server?

Do you have it set to adminstrator mode or application mode?

I lay claim to nothing and everything. My words may be wisdom or disaster. In the end you make a choice. Noone is perfect.

I'm sure that its not a windows 2003 server. it is windows 2000 terminal and I am pretty sure that the full terminal services is installed.
I am not sure about whether it is administrator mode or application mode. I did not set the session up. Unfortunately, the person who did set it up no longer works with the company.

It soudn slike your server is in Remote Administration MOde. In that mode in only allows 2 concurrent sessions at a time. You will have to switch to Application Server mode to get more connections going. You can do this through the Control Panel, if you have any quesition slook at the help files their pretty clear about it.
