Hello all, thanks in advance for any help you can throw my way.

I have a server2000 that I am trying to connect to via remote desktop connection. when I connect, I can not access local printer or disks. they are check under local resources and work great when I connect to a 2003Server. Is there a work around for server 2000? My PC OS is XP Pro.

Thanks! and let me know if I need to provide more information.

2000 Terminal Services doesn't support local disk mapping, so you won't be able to do that.

You can use local printers, so that should work, provided that the appropriate specific printer driver is loaded on the server.

thanks! I was able to get the printer to print by adding the driver. that was 1/2 the battle. now to get my boss to switch to server2003!!!
