Remote Desktop Connection Drops

From the client PC (XP) into our terminal server, via VPN and remote desktop connection, it connects fine, however there seems to be an issue of the remote desktop getting disconnected from time to time. Anyone have any ideas as to why this would happen?

Workgroup or Domain?
Maybe the "idle session limit" setting on the user's account properties (on the Server) is too short?
Go to Local Users and Groups/Users/[user file in question]/properties/sessions/"idle session limit"...
It may be set for "5 minutes" or something like that. Increase the idle time (and other settings as necessary).
