Hi
We have a wired LAN in the office.
Attached to this is a Netgear WN824 router.
Laptops connected wirelessly can remote control PCs on the wired LAN but PCs on the wired LAN cannot remote control (or even ping) laptops connected wirelessly.
Thanks

Hi,
this generally sounds like a special Firewall setting
- in the routerconfig
- or for the WLAN connection on the laptops
- or any Securitysoftware on the Laptops

just hints ...

Kind regards
Mirko

Thank you for your post.
The router firewall is disabled.
I have tried several different laptops connected to the wireless LAN. Some Windows, some Linux. Local firewalls are disabled and they have different security software.
