Hi

Any information would be greatly help...customer replaced their router with a Sonicwall TZ350 last week and I am having trouble with the Panasonic Softphones and Remote phones NT551 all connecting to a NS700.
They have setup port forwarding but it appears when testing I can only connect one device at time. For example working at home at the moment testing I have the Panasonic softphone and a NT551 it appears I can only get one at a time to work. So if I plug out the NT551 the Softphone works and it will work the other way round.

I have checked the licences on the NS700 and I have enough 20 IP Telephone Lic and 20 Softphone Lic

I have 16 users on NT543 and they are in the office four sofphones on remote operation.

Any ideas why the sonicwall is blocking multiple connections on port forward (only looking for 4 remote connections)

Did not have any problems with their old router....I do have remote access to the router at the moment

Michael

I have never seen that before

Can you get a wireshark trace of the phone that not connecting to see what is happening

Or at the system side

You need an IPT license for each NT phone and each softphone.

For 20 NT handsets and 20 softphones you would need:

40 x IPT Licenses
20 x Softphone Licenses

You don’t need a ipt and. A softphone licences for 1 softphone.

The softphone license can be used for nt or softphone. But not the other way around

From the Panasonic setup guide.
