I have problems with SQL Server 7.0, and I thought someonw on this list might be able to help me.

I have a freelance project where I have administrator access to the company's remote SQL 7.0 Server. I am using my dial-up account and Remote Connection Desktop to access the company's server. I have no problems creating an empty database in Enterprise Manager on the server, however, I cannot connect to that database using my client Enterprise Manager (even though I set an up alias in Client Network Utility). I receive a connection error - cannot generate SSPI context.

I do not know how to correct this issue.

Please help! I've verified that SQL Server is running on the remote machine.

I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer me. Thank you in advance!

Andrea

Since you are hurry, I am answering this without much investigations but search microsoft site for this issue, may be Enterprise manager for 7.0 can not connect over low speed connection. Secondly I hope you are not using 2000 client. If it is so then it is not supported.
