I've heard rumors that it is possible, via MQSeries Explorer, to connect directly to the MQSeries server and view/manipulate the messages thereon. Is this possible? If so, how? I'm running W2K and MQ 5.2. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Yes It is posible,

1. Define server connection channel:

DEFINE CHANNEL (SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN) CHLTYPE (SVRCONN) on remote queue manager

2. Check if listener TCP/IP listeber works on remote manager

3. start command server on remote queue manager:

strmqcsv qm_name

If You want know more see "Sstem Administration" chapter 3 "Administration using the MQSeries Explorer" -this book is for download from IBM web pages.
