Hi I am trying to use a virtual extension to remote call forward to an AT&T Blackberry and if the call is unanswered then to bring the call back into the Modular Messaging Voice mailbox. The AT&T cell phone seems to reject the call and then the Modular messaging mailbox answers the call right away. I have no issues using a Verizon cell phone with the exact same setup. Is there a trick I can use to outfox AT&T and I really hope that T-Mobile merger doesn't go through now.

Yes it doesn't matter how many rings I make it. It still barely ring the AT&T cell

Code:
display system-parameters coverage-forwarding Page 1 of 2
SYSTEM PARAMETERS CALL COVERAGE / CALL FORWARDING

CALL COVERAGE/FORWARDING PARAMETERS

Local Cvg Subsequent Redirection/CFWD No Ans Interval (rings): 3
Off-Net Cvg Subsequent Redirection/CFWD No Ans Interval (rings): 5

Changing these timers affect the system

Have you tried ec500?

Hardware platform? Definity / CM Software version?

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"

I haven't tried EC500 because I don't want to give them a physical phone.

Gingersnap1027- what is your HDW platform? Definity/CM Software version?

Have you tried doing this w/out using the virtual setup/coverage path? Instead set up as an ext on a station, call forward and put it on SEND...just for grins?

It was my experience with older AT&T/Lucent/Avaya PBX's you could not call-forward a virtual extension you had to use remote coverage
and you had to set the COS to Restrict Call Fwd-Off net to n.
Have you checked your COS on the extension you are trying to call-forward.

Restrict Call Fwd-Off Net: to N
Extended Forwarding All:to Y
Extended Forwarding B/DA: to Y
....
