I am able to Call Forward from the set using the Feature 4 to a cell phone however I need to be able to change the forward to number to a different person after hours. Right now I have to return to the office and change the forward to number on the set or have someone at the office do this. Is there a way to do this remotely? I have a MICS 7.1 XC with a Call Pilot 150. Thank you

No.

Do they want to change the number every time after you go home? what is the story? maybe there would be a work around like night service.
How many mobile #'s are used?

Thanks, different people are on call every week and they use their own cell phones. They need to be able to remotely log into the Norte and change the call forward ring to number, activate and deactivate.

I found this on a thread here. I can do this but the forwarding of an analog extension which I have done has required a FLASH or LINK to then be able to activate or cancel call forwarding so I don;t see how this will work. Any thoughts?

TEK-TIPS REPLY ON ANOTHER THREAD REGARDING SAME SUBJECT:
The answer is how bad do you want it. I have thought of a way, but will require a spare analog line port, spare analog extension port, and a DISA number. First, set up DISA. Then loop the line into the extension port. Put that line into its own pool with an access code. Then renumber the analog ext. to be the extension you want to control. Program the analog extension like the digital phone. Put an answer dn on the digital phone for the analog extension (now renumbered to his extension). That should do it! Now you would call into DISA and use the access code for the pool you put the analog line into. That will give you dial tone from the analog extension. Use the analog features to call forward the analog phone. Also put the new digital extension number as an alternate extension into the old mailbox.

so I don;t see how this will work. Any thoughts?"
What do you mean you don't see? are you assuming it does not work without even trying?

Ok so it's one person that covers 1 week then another person the next?
How many people?

Why is it that somebody on site such as a service/office manager, reception etc cannot do this simple task each Friday or whenever?
Is it too difficult? never anyone there?

How does the call get to this ext/phone, DID or direct POTS line or from AA??

"what is the story?" is now "what is the FULL story?

I set up and tried to call forward from an analog DN and it would not work when I just pressed * 4 I had to pressed the FLASH button on the analog handset then dial * 4 I get it to forward.

Jabbing the switch hook once or pressing the recall button will be the start of the method that an analogue phone uses when connected to a Norstar or BCM phone system. The next keys pressed will the the same as for a digital / IP phone such as *4 for call forward.

I'm guessing that as you have said that you use this method when accessing DISA. We rarely ever see DISA in use as it is subject to hacking.

Yes thank you. I also set up DSA and after entering the password I pressed * 4 and got a busy signal.
